Forgiveness.
Some people find it really hard to ask for. Others find it really hard to give. But where forgiveness truly counts the most is within your own soul. Forgive yourself;
For any mistakes.
For not being where you want to be.
For the times you fell when you thought you would soar.
For being hard on yourself.
For not believing in yourself.
For not believing in love.
For trusting people’s false or empty promises.
For ignoring your intuition.
For letting people walk over you.
For being loyal to anyone who was only loyal to you while you were useful to them.
For allowing yourself to get wrapped up in situations that hurt you.
For the times you let yourself down.
For not seeing things clearly before.
For…
Let it all go. Give yourself the peace you seek. Write yourself a letter of forgiveness for all those things or any others. On the other side of forgiveness are the blessings that you seek.
But never, feel that you have to forgive yourself for the pure love you give anyone, even if they didn’t treat you right. Why? Some part of them needed it, some part of your love did help them, whether they recognised it or not. For this, you don’t need forgiveness. It is simply your divinity in action. This is what real love does, it gives without expectations. It trusts, faithfully, that every act of love makes its way to somebody’s heart, whether they are willing to receive it or not. What do you gain through this type of giving? Experience and deeper heart wisdom. And this makes a pure heart stronger.
